Team of youth volunteers at Chess Without Borders captivate crowds through their service that raises funds for humanitarian projects.
Volunteers at Chess Without Borders harness their energy, charm and effort to drive service projects that engage and involve community members, local businesses and parents. They range in ages from 6 to 18 years and proud bearers of the tradition of combining chess education with service and philanthropy since the inception of the chess program in Barrington in 1999.
On January 21st from 6-9 pm they will partner with Salem UMC to host a gourmet dinner for guests who will learn about the UN as well as hear the special guest Chris Baker, the founder of INK180. His organization fights human trafficking.
